Sci-Tech Complex Powerfully Demonstrates Its Might as Grand Seat of Learning for Our People
For the past ten years since the inauguration, the Sci-Tech Complex has offered reading service to over １１６ ０００ ０００ people and steadily improved the information service level.
In the past ten years the Sci-Tech Complex actively contributed to training lots of working people, students and schoolchildren as intelligent workers and talents while fully performing its mission as a grand seat of learning for our people and a hub of the dissemination of the latest science.
The Sci-Tech Complex, a dear home of all the people for learning to their heart’s content, is a gift of love provided to our people by the great Party in the ２１th century, the era of the knowledge-driven economy.

He unfolded a bright blueprint for turning the Ssuk Islet into the islet of science and learning and personally named it "Sci-tech Complex".
When he visited the Sci-Tech Complex which had been completed with splendour, he taught that it should perform the duty as a multi-functional hub for disseminating science and technology and e-library of a large scale, and clearly indicated the orientation and ways arising in its management and operation.
His wise leadership has served as a dynamic force which has enabled the Sci-Tech Complex to play its pivotal role in the implementation of the Party’s line of making our people sci-tech talents.
Along with the inauguration of the Sci-Tech Complex, the climate of attaching importance to science and technology has pervaded the whole country and the zeal for learning further increased.
Almost all the units across the country are currently joined the nationwide sci-tech dissemination network with the complex as a hub and lots of working people are acquiring data on sci-tech issues arising in their units through this network.
In particular the regional-industry factories in cities and counties, which have been built as creations of our Party’s regional development policy, prepare their employees to be able creators of new technologies while briskly operating the sci-tech dissemination system centered on the Sci-Tech Complex.
Our advance towards the brighter future will be further accelerated when sci-tech dissemination activities centered on the Sci-Tech Complex get brisk and all the people become sci-tech talents urgently needed for the development of their sectors and units.
