The Songyong Light Decoration Institute of the Visual Light Decoration Bureau improves the level of technical and practical skill and qualifications of designers of visual light decoration branch offices in provinces through technical courses held at regular intervals.

The institute took proactive steps to make designers acquire more knowledge about various methods of lighting design and illumination engineering technology.

The institute is finding rational ways for steadily spreading and transferring advanced light decoration technology of the capital city and good experience to regional areas.

The Central Education Information Center conducts the work for putting education on a higher IT and modern basis and spreading advanced teaching materials nationwide via the private network in the field of education in a flexible way.

Various kinds of teaching materials including videos, pictures, audios and educational-aid programmes are of great help to the teaching work of teachers and the improvement of their qualifications as they contain various materials related to educational contents and methods, textbooks, reference books, developing world trend of education, latest sci-tech findings and common senses.

Since the private network in the field of education started the operation, hundreds of thousands of teaching materials including over ２５ ０００ video presentations of lectures have been gathered so far and spread nationwide.

The Central Education Information Center vigorously pushes ahead with the work for promptly disseminating advanced teaching materials of the capital among educational organs in regional areas and gathering more new data.

Passing-on Technique Brisk in Public Health Sector

A passing-on technique is gaining momentum in the public health sector.

Medical workers in the Pyongyang General Hospital and other central-level hospitals are transmitting advanced medical techniques and clinical experience to hospitals in Kangdong and Ryonggang counties and Kusong City on the spots.

The Pyongyang General Hospital dispatches the medical workers in the experimental test and digestive internal departments to local hospitals to transfer advanced testing methods.

Those of Pyongyang University of Medicine Hospital, Kim Man Yu Hospital, Okryu Children’s Hospital, Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and other hospitals went to the local hospitals and conducted the passing-on technique on advanced diagnostic and treatment methods.

The Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital and Ryugyong Dental Hospital have made signal achievements in technical training.

Thanks to the ardent enthusiasm of the medical workers of the central-level hospitals, more than ２ ８００ technical trainings and dozens of cooperative operations have been conducted from December last year and thus the technical and practical qualifications of local medical workers were raised.

Brisk Work for Transmitting Clothes Processing Technology

The Korean Garment Industry Association conducts well the work for widely disseminating dressing culture of the capital city to regions.

In particular, it directs big efforts to the work for transmitting the technology of clothes processing to the regional garment factories newly built thanks to the benevolence of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Last year, too, the garment experts in the capital city were dispatched to the regional garment factories including those in Songchon and Sukchon counties to disseminate in a substantial way the methods and techniques of dress designing and processing as well as technical evaluation of them.

And the association conducts in various forms and ways the work for developing the methods of dress designing, service and exhibition and dressing culture for the officials, experts and technicians of the garment industrial sector across the country.

Meanwhile, the association is putting efforts into disseminating the model books on clothes showing our noble and beautiful dressing culture with modern beauty.
