Birthday Spread to Woman Centenarian

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ri Sil Baek, who is living in Neighbourhood Unit No. ４５ of Junhyok-ri, Kaechon City of South Phyongan Province, on her １００th birthday.

Excited to enjoy the glory and happiness she had imagined in a dream, Ri extended her gratitude to Kim Jong Un for sending the birthday spread to such an ordinary old rural villager as her though he is busy handling all state affairs.

She had been subjected to all maltreatments, being a landlord’s slave, before national liberation. Only after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country, she could lead a genuine life as a human being.

With a resolve to repay the benevolence of the Workers’ Party of Korea, she fulfilled her duty in the agricultural sector for decades and continued her work for the country even after becoming a pensioner.

Officials of the Kaechon City Committee of the WPK and villagers congratulated the centenarian’s family on its auspicious event, sharing joy with her family.
