Books Sent to Orphans
In January ２０１５, the respected General Secretary
That day, while making the rounds of the baby home, he dropped in at the intelligence play room.
Looking at the kids satisfactorily, he went near the book shelf of the room and picked up an intelligence education picture book "We Learn Our Language".
He said there were books necessary for developing children’s intelligence and asked an official of the baby home at what age children start reading.
After listening to the answer, the respected General Secretary taught the accompanying official to produce lots of intelligence education books and send them to all the other baby homes and orphanages as well as the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage.
When he presently dropped by its counterpart at the orphanage, he said that books like "We Learn Our Language" and "Let Us Think" at the room are good for developing children’s intelligence.
That day, the officials of the baby home and orphanage kept his instructions deep in their minds.
Not long after his visit, lorries carrying intelligence education books arrived at the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage.
Like this, the respected General Secretary visited the children at the orphanage and baby home on the first day of the year, not feeling content with his loving care for them, though he was so busy with state affairs, and paid attention even to the intelligence education books for the children.
Indeed, the books are imbued with the ardent love and ennobling intention of the respected General Secretary who hopes to train them to be excellent talents.
