Irreversible Mode of Our Advance

There is a saying that ten years are enough to change mountains and rivers.

However our country is making a great leap forward compressing ten years into one and it has been a common thing in our country that a year is enough to bring remarkable changes.

It is the proud reality and legendary miracle of our country unfolded and performed by the great Party that the realms of our construction are expanding and its goals are getting higher with each passing day and the speed of their realization, from planning to implementation, is being further accelerated.

Whenever we think about the speed of our advance and development, we look back on the ceremony of declaring the start of the fifth-stage construction in the Hwasong area held with splendor on February １８ in the run-up to the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

At the significant ceremony that day which demonstrated the spirit of continuous revolution and the engine for vigorous progress peculiar to our Party, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un gave a meaningful instruction that the country is changing its appearance and the wealth of the people is increasing each year, and along with this our revolution is following step by step the course of innovation and leap forward--this has become an irreversible trend of the revolution and a mode of its advance.

Today our Party unfolds a grandiose blueprint for building a socialist power where all people are well-off with nothing to envy, the cradle of happiness which will prosper forever in the near future and leads its realization vigorously.

All our Party’s thinking and practices are grounded in providing the people with the most affluent and civilized life as soon as possible and it is our Party’s noble view on the people that it should pluck even a star and bring a flower into bloom even on a rock if this is desired by people.

So our Party continues to make a stride of advance setting new and development-oriented goals for the people’s welfare and the stirring reality in which the country is changing its appearance and the wealth of the people is increasing each year could be unfolded in the course of such a gigantic struggle.

Each creation of new life and new civilization for the sake of people mushroomed in different parts of the country recently conveys a story about creation of miracles.

Then what brought about such an astounding speed of development, mode of advance?

The eye-opening reality of our country in which it changes its appearance and makes a leap forward each year is the symbol of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un’s wise guidance and mightiness and precious fruition brought about by his noble ideal, practical ability, faith and will.

Steadfast is the will of our Party to find out new jobs and make persevering efforts to carry them out by identifying the source of energy for struggle and the aim of steadfast development in its endeavors for the wellbeing of the people and continue to strive regarding it as its supreme and consistent principle to look after the people with all sincerity by improving their standard of living in every way.

The WPK spares nothing for the people and never feels content in doing things for the promotion of people’s welfare.

We will dash forward at a faster pace under the leadership of the great Party.

It is a firm determination of all the people to glorify each year on this land as the great days of achieving the eternal prosperity of the country and providing people with happiness by remarkably amplifying the matchless mental strength, irresistible power, upholding the fighting programme set forth at the Ninth Party Congress.
