We Are Most Obliged to Our Mother
In February when the Ninth Party Congress of glory was held, all the people across the country grew stronger in their boundless gratitude toward the Workers’ Party of Korea, the great motherly Party which assumes full responsibility for the people’s destiny and life and takes care of them.
Lots of people look back upon the past days during which they underwent a turn of destiny and growth under the warm care of the Party.
It is because our motherly Party embraces everyone in the country, bestows all the happiness and glory upon them and takes responsibility for their destiny to the end that our people follow only the Party whole-heartedly in the face of difficulties and hardship.
It is none other than our motherly Party which regards it precious if those people, who committed crimes against the country and were abandoned by the society, the collective and their families in the past, have even a scrap of conscience, and gives them an opportunity for rebirth.
The story about the great love and benevolence granted to ２０-odd young people of the Youth Company of the Kanggye City Construction Brigade including its commander Jon Chol Hyok clearly proves it.
It was in April, ２０２１, when a youth company was organized at the brigade.
At that moment, lots of young people volunteered to work at the company upon hearing the news.
Among them were young people with bad records, too.
Some people doubted if they could work well as they had been an object of social criticism.
However, the young people, who decided to make a new start of life, worked by the sweat of their brows at the construction site, solely trusting the Party.
Until then, no one could ever imagine that they could win great honor of life.

Later, they returned to their home village after having an honorable souvenir photo taken with the respected fatherly Marshal.
Looking at them, everyone said that our Party, which protects even the destiny of the outcasts of the times and leads them step by step, is, indeed, the most benevolent motherly one in the world.
Our Party is our mother and the embrace of our destiny!
We can hear these words anywhere in our country.
This is not just a verbal or literal expression but the precious truth our people realized through their real-life experience.
That is why our people cherish a unanimous and fervent passion to entrust their destiny wholly to the motherly Party and follow it only in whatever circumstances.
As nothing can break the bonds between the mother and her children, so can nothing in the world break the kindred ties between our Party and the people.
As long as the red flag of the Workers’ Party of Korea with a hammer, a sickle and a brush on it flutters, the history of our Party’s love for and trust in the people and the history of our people’s loyalty to the motherly Party will continue forever.
