Masters of State Affairs, Genuine Representatives of People

The auspicious election of deputies to the １５th Supreme People’s Assembly is to be held soon in the DPRK.

In our country the Supreme People’s Assembly is the supreme power organ consisting of genuine representatives of the popular masses, which directly represents the will of the popular masses and exercises sovereignty in the interests of the people.

The election system of the Republic clearly stipulates that deputies to power organs at all levels should always keep in close contact with voters and assume full responsibility for their own work before them, and that voters can recall at any time the deputy they have elected in case of losing their confidence.

Deputies to power organs of our Republic are not the ones belonging to a certain privileged class but the ones selected among the popular masses.

Therefore it is the bounden duty for deputies in our country to keep in close contact with voters, the popular masses.

The election system of our Republic states that deputies should always assume full responsibility of their own work before voters, the popular masses.

This makes the popular masses become the masters of state power and provides a firm guarantee for true executors of it by forming power organs with faithful servants of the people.

Another advantage of the political system of our state lies in that the supreme power organ is formed by genuine representatives of people who thoroughly embody the demand and will of the popular masses and serve for them.

Everyone should take an active part in the election of deputies to the SPA, and thus further strengthen our people’s authority by selecting the genuine representatives of people, masters of state affairs.
