Flower Festival Is to Be Held

The Flower Festival-２０２６ is to be held in the capital city of Pyongyang on the occasion of the auspicious April holiday.

The theme of the flower festival is "More beautifully, more fragrantly".

The festival is aimed at turning the whole country into a socialist paradise where all sorts of flowers are in full bloom and contributing to improvement of the people’s cultural and emotional life by developing floriculture.

The flower festival will be participated by flower research and producing units, enterprises which have flower greenhouses, aspirant units and individual flower lovers. On display there will be various kinds of flower ornaments and flower beds decorated with various flowering plants.

There will be arranged exhibition sections according to species for introducing flowering plants of good species and areas showing the methods of greening parks and interior at the exhibition venue.

The preparations for ensuring the successful festival are brisk.

The festival to be held significantly on the occasion of the meaningful April holiday will make a contribution to sprucing up all the streets, villages, factories and worksites in the country by breeding, cultivating and widely spreading more flowering plants of good species.
