Integrated Production System He Inspected with Satisfaction
One day in February, ２０１７, the respected General Secretary
Seeing the integrated production system of the factory at the combined control room, the respected General Secretary asked an official of the State Academy of Sciences what differences between the integrated production systems established at the Pyongyang Catfish Farm and the Samchon Catfish Farm were.
After listening to his explanation attentively, the General Secretary praised the success achieved by the State Academy of Sciences, saying that it was doing a lot of good things for the prosperity of the country.
The official couldn’t help feeling ashamed as he recalled one day two years ago.
That day the General Secretary had visited the Pyongyang Catfish Farm. When he was informed that information devices introduced into the integrated production system were not our own things, he stressed that integrated production system should be established １００ percent with our own things in the future.
That day officials and scientists had a guilty conscience.
So they devoted efforts to establishing integrated production system which can be called proudly ours and finally succeeded in it.
The respected General Secretary credited all the successes to our scientists in disregard of his efforts.
Indeed, thanks to the wise guidance of the General Secretary who deeply implants the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance into the minds of officials and working people in every factory and worksite he visits, our country is advancing staunchly along the road of self-reliance and self-development.
That day the officials hardened their determination to further display the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance true to the intention of the respected General Secretary.
In Conformity with Specific Situation and Conditions of Our Country
One July day in ２０１８, the respected General Secretary visited the Samjiyon Potato Farina Production Factory.
That day he said that modern potato farina production factories should be built at potato production bases in northern highlands based on the experience gained in building the model factory able to produce potato farina and various processed potato foods for the first time in our country, and its design.
He looked round the circulated fluidized bed boiler of our own style newly-installed at the factory.
After learning in detail about the performance of the boiler, he highly appreciated that the circulated fluidized bed boiler made by our own efforts and technology on the basis of our designs and the specific conditions of our country became able to produce enough steam needed in the production process with a little coal.
Receiving his praise, the officials recollected the past days when they once hindered the production by installing equipment which run counter to the economic calculation at the beginning of the construction of the factory.
The General Secretary gave a precious instruction that no matter how advanced a piece of equipment may be, if it doesn’t conform to the situation and realities of our country, it is useless.
Listening to his instruction, the officials once again realized his intention that all the works should be conducted in the principle of self-supporting to suit the specific situation and conditions of our country.
