The regional hospitals have been visited by lots of people since they declared the inauguration and started the operation.
Looking at the happy looks of regional people in modern medical service centers, we recollect with deep emotion an unforgettable story conveying boundless love shown by the benevolent father to bring about this reality.
One day in August, ２０２４, the respected General Secretary
Going round the construction site, the General Secretary learnt in detail about the quality of buildings, the progress of the construction project and living conditions of soldier-builders. Then he got together with officials to discuss the issue of construction of city and county hospitals.
He said that the construction of hospitals in cities and counties is a grand undertaking to get rid of the habit of the past of regarding the backwardness of regions only as an inevitable fate.
Building modern hospitals in cities and counties alone represents a grand revolution in development of public health sector as well as regional development, he added.
Looking around the officials wrapped in great emotion, the respected General Secretary stressed that our Party’s determination to shore up the overall public health sector of the country by building modern hospitals in cities and counties is a plan with obvious feasibility.
He said with confidence that hospitals in cities and counties could be better built than the one in Samjiyon City.
Wearing a broad smile on his face, he said that all of his anxieties seemed to be removed with only thinking that modern hospitals would be built in every city and county for the sake of the people in the next １０ years’ time.
After a while, the General Secretary said that it wasn’t actually easy to build hospitals, sci-tech dissemination bases and grain management stations in cities and counties at the state expense, adding that the construction of hospitals was the capital among those three projects.
Then he continued: It is our Party’s first and foremost cherished desire to have city and county hospitals built, which will greatly contribute to improving the regional public health situation, which is relatively inferior, and protecting the lives and security of the regional people and promoting their health.
Fervent, indeed, was the world of love of the benevolent father who prioritizes the lives and security of the people and promotion of their health in carrying out the sacred cause of achieving practical development of regions.
The officials pictured regional hospitals to be wonderfully built in every part of the country under the wise guidance of the respected General Secretary.
They made a firm determination to devote their all to bringing into reality our Party’s first cherished desire.
