Oratorical Meeting Held to Mark 114th Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung

An oratorical meeting was held at the People’s Palace of Culture here on April １３ to mark the １１４th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were Jon Kyong Chol, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Hyon Un Chol, minister of Culture, officials concerned, officials and working people in Pyongyang.

The performers praised the revolutionary career and exploits of President Kim Il Sung who devoted all his life to the country and the people and impressively told about the personality of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un as a great man who is bringing earlier the future of the highly-civilized and thriving country, where the people’s dreams and ideals are fully realized, with his ardent love and devotion.

They said that the President is a benevolent father who brought happiness and laughter to the people with his devotion till the last moments of his life.

They stressed that the exciting reality, in which the capital city and regional areas are changing simultaneously with the inauguration season every year and a qualitative change is being made in the life of the people across the country, is the immortal scene provided by the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Such performances as "Patriotic Farmer" and "The Citizen of the Republic" touched the heartstrings of the participants as they dealt with the facts that all the farmers, conscious that there is a road to Pyongyang beside their farm fields, had made efforts to bring about a rich crop so that their farm won the honor of being the ３０ best farms in ２０２５ and that the the Party Central Committee has taken warmer care of the sick and the wounded.

The performers ardently called upon all the people to fully demonstrate the spirit and mettle of the Korean people in the general advance for opening up a new phase of upsurge in comprehensive development of socialism along the road indicated by the Ninth WPK Congress.
