Evening Gala and Firework Display Held in DPRK

There took place an evening gala of youth and students in Pyongyang and a fireworks display on April １５ to celebrate the １１４th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

The evening gala began with the song "We Sing of Our Country Holding the Leader in High Esteem" at Kim Il Sung Square.

Its participants showed a wave of celebration dances, extending their best wishes for immortality to President Kim Il Sung, who devoted his all to the sacred cause for the country and the people and laid a foundation for the prosperity of all generations to come.

The celebration dancing was continued along with the playing of song "Appearance of Korea" and other songs reflecting the high enthusiasm of the young vanguard to glorify the precious name of the patriotic youth.

When "Dear Father", a monumental hymn reflecting the reverence for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, resounded in the sky of the capital city, the atmosphere of the evening gala was revved up.

Sound of fireworks shook the land like the advancing stamina of the young vanguard and the night of beautiful Pyongyang was colorfully decorated with sparks.

Looking at the sparks with pleasure, the participants in the evening gala and the masses were convinced that their future would be rosier and more beautiful under the wise guidance of the Workers’ Party of Korea which is translating the people’s dreams and ideals into brilliant reality.

Dancing parties of youth and students were held in provincial seats and cities and counties on the same day.
