Congratulatory Message of C.C., WPK Conveyed to GFSTK

A meeting was held at the People’s Palace of Culture on April １７ to convey a congratulatory message from the Workers’ Party of Korea Central Committee to the officials, scientists and technicians of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea on the occasion of its ８０th founding anniversary.

Present there were Kim Sung Du, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Song Bin, chairman of the GFSTK Central Committee and concurrently chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, and officials, scientists and technicians of the general federation.

Kim Sung Du conveyed the congratulatory message from the Central Committee of the WPK to the officials, scientists and technicians of the general federation.

The WPK Central Committee in the message said that the ８０-year history of the general federation is a proud history of noble patriotism and loyalty and pure conscience of its officials, scientists and technicians who have lived up with good results century after century to the leadership and deep trust of the Party which founded it and has led its development step by step.

Since its foundation, there have been replacement of generations and lots of changes in the sphere, means and methods of scientific research, but steady continuity is given to the responsible work attitude and extraordinary spirit of creation with which the general federation regards and conducts its scientific and technological undertakings as the sacred patriotic cause for supporting the national prosperity and development, the message said.

The message highly praised the officials, scientists and technicians of the GFSTK for having made a great contribution to strengthening the national power and dynamically advancing socialist construction along the orbit of self-respect and self-development by dint of science.
