Highly Praising "Yondaebong"-branded Paper

On December ２８, ２０２５, the completion ceremony of the Unsan Paper Mill was held with splendor.

That day, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un personally cut the inauguration tape and met the officials, scientists and technicians of the State Academy of Sciences including the head of its Paper Engineering Institute.

After encouraging them who made great contributions to the country’s paper-making industry, possessed of our Party’s spirit of self-respect and self-reliance, he said with satisfaction that a precious creation of great importance in developing the paper-making industry of our style and satisfying the overall demand for paper in the country was erected.

That day, the respected General Secretary taught in detail about producing paper in our style as suited to the actualities of our country, defining the color of the paper properly and developing the paper-making industry into an independent industry capable of ensuring the sustained growth of production.

The respected General Secretary wore a bright smile of satisfaction on his face looking at various kinds of "Yondaebong"-branded paper products.

He stressed that it was really a great success to have established a paper-making technology capable of solving paper problem which the Party was most worried about and whose solution it was looking forward to.

Noting that the Unsan Paper Mill is a greatly profitable mill of big economic effectiveness to which the paper-making technology for producing various products with different species of trees and locally-available raw materials was introduced, he added that, with the completion of the paper mill, another realm was pioneered for putting the regional industry on an advanced basis and making the material and cultural life of regional people more affluent.

Indeed, what pleased the respected General Secretary most was the fact that the exemplary experience for solving paper problem in our way and on our own had been created in the course of building a regional paper mill.

The respected General Secretary is ushering in a new era of regional transformation with the grand plan to make the capital envious of the regions, to make regional rejuvenation represent the progress and development of our state and to make the true image of our style of socialism mirrored on the ideal appearance of the regions.

Greater and more exciting will be the joy which will greet our people in the worthwhile struggle for the prosperity and happy future of the country as we have the great Workers’ Party of Korea fighting for the well-being of the people.
