Inexhaustible Might Unique to Workers’ Party of Korea
The eighth term of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea was proudly recorded in history as a period when gigantic events and miracles were created.
What served as a cornerstone and motive force of the numerous miracles and events our people experienced was the extraordinary fighting efficiency of our Party which takes responsibility for the people’s destiny.
Only when all the Party members form an integrated system in which they are firmly united around the leader organizationally as an organic body, can the Party display its fighting efficiency to the full.
At the commemorative lecture given on the occasion of the ７６th founding anniversary of the WPK, the respected General Secretary
Party organizations at all levels play a very important role in strengthening the Party and enhancing its leading role.
The respected General Secretary stressed at the historic conclusion made at the Eighth Congress of the WPK that a great heyday of the development of the Party and the revolution will be ushered in when the organizations of the whole Party are built up into loyal vanguard ranks, work in a revolutionary and enterprising manner and satisfactorily perform their role as the political general staff of the relevant units.
The short course for chief secretaries of the city and county Party committees given in March, ２０２１, the first of its kind in the history of our Party, came to be an important occasion for remarkably enhancing the function and role of the city and county Party organizations which are chiefly responsible for implementing the Party’s idea of attaching importance to cities and counties and line on strengthening them.
Thanks to the energetic guidance of the respected General Secretary, who gave detailed instructions as to the importance of city and county, which are the lowest-level guidance and executive units for the implementation of our Party’s policies, regional bases directing the rural and local economy and powerful fortresses supporting the comprehensive development of the country, the status of the city and county Party committees, and important tasks and ways for enhancing the role of chief secretaries in intensifying the Party work and developing cities and counties, a fresh turn was effected in further strengthening the city and county Party committees and elevating their fighting efficiency.
Though the strengthening of the Party’s basic organizations has always been prioritized in building our Party, it was in the eighth-term of the Party Central Committee when it underwent actual changes with a more particular meaning and clear orientation.
No other party in the world regularly holds conferences of officials from basic Party organizations where the supreme leader gives detailed instructions on orientation of activities, tasks and even traits of officials like ours.
Prioritizing the work of strengthening the primary Party organizations as one of the two tasks of strengthening the entire Party along with the work of strengthening Party cells, the respected General Secretary attended the conferences of officials of basic Party organizations like the Second Conference of Secretaries of Primary Committees of the WPK and the Sixth Conference of Cell Secretaries of the WPK to give precious instructions as to the idea on the role of the primary Party committees and the idea of attaching importance to the primary Party committees and taught one by one about the ten major tasks that face Party cells and twelve major traits which their secretaries should possess.
The guidance of the respected General Secretary who ensured that the fighting efficiency of the Party was readjusted in an overall and detailed way and put on a higher stage in keeping with the requirements of the developing revolution is closely associated with the fact that he led the major Party meetings like the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee and politburo meetings to greatly enhance our Party’s leading functions and militant role.
When the ideological work of the Party is conducted powerfully, can the Party ranks be consolidated ideologically and intensified organizationally and the fighting efficiency of the Party be fortified.
The respected General Secretary sent an important letter to the First Workshop of Officials in the Information Field of the WPK, thus letting officials in the information field of the Party vigorously propel the revolution by means of mighty ideological offensive as the powerful loudspeakers and hi-fi amplifiers faithful to the Party Central Committee.
Our country gave birth to great creations for strengthening the national power and made noteworthy eye-opening successes in the harshest-ever trials and hardship which others would never dare and entered a road of advance toward a rosier future.
Such exciting reality bears clear testimony to the inexhaustible might unique to the WPK which is consolidating its fighting efficiency in every way thanks to the great ideas and energetic leadership of the respected General Secretary.
Our Party will, in the future, too, lead our revolution and people only to great victory and glory with its everlasting vitality and great practice, giving full play to its peculiar militant might under the leadership of the respected General Secretary.
