Utmost Sincerity Devoted to Revival of a Patient

Not long ago, medical workers at the Hyongjesan District Hospital brought a burnt case back to life.

Officials, doctors and nurses, ５０-odd in total, devoted their skins unhesitatingly to the patient.

Breaking with the old custom of dispatching severe cases to the upper hospital, the medical workers there buckled down to treatment with full responsibility for the patient’s life.

As they kept the earnest request of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who said, at the completion ceremony of the Kangdong County Hospital, he would entrust the health of the precious people in the county to the medical workers there, in their minds as a request made to themselves, they could display boldness, activeness and sense of devotion in the treatment.

A treatment team was organized and the intensive treatment on the patient was immediately launched.

With a serious burn on the whole body, the patient was in the worst conditions.

However, the treatment team members conducted an intensive treatment campaign as suited to the ever-changing conditions of the patient.

Advanced treatment methods were applied one after another amid the hospital and department consultations and video-conference with the upper hospital.

Several departments were on constant standby to provide itinerant checkup and medicine service and department heads and able doctors took part in necessary consultations.

Thanks to the devoted efforts of medical workers who took sincere care of the patient, the patient, whose resuscitation was thought to be impossible, was finally brought back to health.
