Oath-taking Meeting of UAWK Officials and Agricultural Workers
Officials of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and agricultural workers held an oath-taking meeting at the Kuksabong Revolutionary Battle Site in South Phyongan Province on April 22 on the occasion of the 94th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army.
Prior to the meeting, the participants made a study tour of the revolutionary battle site.
A resolution was read out at the meeting attended by Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the UAWK Central Committee, officials of the union and agricultural workers.
The resolution said that April 25, 1932 is a historic day of profound and great significance for the future development of our state and people, adding that the ever-victorious history of the Korean revolution advancing by dint of the might of powerful arms began since then.
It called upon all the UAWK officials and agricultural workers to become true loyalists who politically and ideologically defend the respected Comrade
It stressed the need for all the agricultural workers to turn out in attaining the goals set forth by the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea and boost the enthusiasm for scientific farming and thus glorify the first year of the new Five-Year Plan with increased grain production.
It called for making more courageous, effective and intensive efforts in the worthwhile advance to bring earlier the new era of socialist rural development by learning after the fighting spirit and traits of the forerunners under the leadership of the respected Comrade
