One day in August ２０１８, the respected General Secretary, who arrived at the Yangdok Railway Station, convened a consultation on the issue of nicely arranging the Sokthang Hot Spring area in Yangdok County.
At the time, several units were doing vegetable farming in greenhouses and breeding catfish in the area.
So the people weren’t getting much benefit from the hot spring.
Telling about this, the respected General Secretary earnestly requested that the area with an efficacious hot spring had to be built in a modern way and corresponding services be offered in order to make this place contribute to promoting the people’s health and wellbeing as a hot spring resort.
The participants in the consultation felt a lump in the throat listening to him.
That day, the respected General Secretary said he had long planned to build a wonderful hot spring resort for the promotion of the people’s health and for their cultural and emotional life.
After expressing satisfaction at the result of the consultation, he stressed once again that we must make sure that the people lead a civilized life.
The consultation held on the train reflected the warm sincerity of the benevolent father for the people.
That day, the officials became more convinced that our people’s ideals and dreams would be translated into reality on this land thanks to the respected General Secretary who finds the greatest joy and pride in making devoted efforts for the people’s happiness.
Racking His Brain for People
One day in August ２０２５, the respected General Secretary met with senior officials of the Party and the government.
While he was giving precious instructions as to the improvement of the people’s living, the respected General Secretary said in a meaningful way that he was always racking his brain to find out more things to be given to the people.
The officials became wrapped in emotion.
They couldn’t repress excitement at the thought that there is no one else in the world but the respected General Secretary who always racks his brain and works heart and soul to provide our people with as many good things as possible.
The issue the respected General Secretary always racks his brain about was nothing but how to give our people as many best things as possible.
Indeed, our people are blessed with the greatest luck as they are enjoying only happiness thanks to the endless devotion of the great father.
That day, the officials hardened their will to become true servants of the people who make redoubled efforts for the promotion of the people’s wellbeing.
