Birth of First Revolutionary Armed Force

April ２５, １９３２, is the birthday of the first revolutionary armed force in our country.

President Kim Il Sung, who put forth an original line on liberating the country by armed struggle, founded the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army(KPRA), the first revolutionary armed force with the Juche Idea as its guideline, in Xiaoshahe, Antu County of China on April ２５, １９３２.

The foundation of the KPRA was a historic event which proclaimed the unbending will of Korean revolutionaries to achieve people’s freedom and liberation and victory of revolution at any cost with the might of thoroughgoing anti-imperialist revolutionary ideology and independence.

The formation of the first armed ranks meant the start of the genuine historic mission of communist fighters of Juche type.

It clearly shows the absolute value of April ２５ in the Korean revolution that the national liberation was achieved by the core role of the KPRA, the main force of the anti-Japanese armed struggle, and through the all-people resistance which accompanied it.

The President, who founded the first revolutionary armed force of Juche type and achieved the historic cause of national liberation with arms, is, indeed, the peerlessly great man.

As there is April ２５, our revolutionary armed forces are distinguishing themselves as the entity of the world’s greatest power today and the ever-victorious tradition of the Korean revolution is steadily carried forward.

The history of our armed forces which began on the historic day is shining more brilliantly as a history of victory and glory as we have the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the van of the armed forces of our Republic.
