Great Care Which Brought Up Patriotic Youth
The １１th Congress of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League will serve as an important occasion for providing a new milestone in the development of the Korean youth movement.
Our young people are now full of boundless gratitude toward the respected General Secretary
The past five years of the SPYL since its １０th Congress conveys that the outstanding idea of the respected General Secretary on prioritizing youth and his energetic guidance brought a new heyday to the Korean youth movement.
We recollect the noble intention of the respected General Secretary who sent an important letter to the １０th Congress of the SPYL and renamed the youth league the Socialist Patriotic Youth League.
In his historic letter, he set it as the basic task facing the youth league at present to train all young people into patriots who staunchly defend socialism and work with devotion for its construction.
Young people are at the stage when their outlook on the world is formed and consolidated, and that’s why it is an important undertaking related to the future destiny of socialism to arm the young people with the Party’s ideas and bring them up as possessors of ardent patriotic spirit.
And therefore the respected General Secretary emphasized about this whenever opportunity arose and brought the young people up into genuine patriots dedicating everything to the development of the country.
Numerous changes and miracles have been witnessed for the past five years.
A countless number of creations have also sprung up across the country.
It is none other than the respected General Secretary who gave free rein to the patriotic enthusiasm of the young people and let them uphold the Party’s plans and leadership in the van, fluttering the flag of the SPYL.
Jonwi Street in the Sopho area of the capital city of Pyongyang!
The respected General Secretary entrusted the young people with the whole of the important project for forming a characteristic street by building thousands of flats in the area of the northern gateway to the capital city of Pyongyang on the sidelines of the construction of １０ ０００ flats in the city in ２０２３.
To him, the completion of this street was of great significance, but more importantly it had a great significance and was precious in that the young people would be tempered in a revolutionary way and grow up in the course of construction.
The ardent love and great trust of his served as a motive force which placed loyalty and patriotism firmer in the hearts of young people in the course of the construction of a new street.
The respected General Secretary also called the young people to the rehabilitation campaign in North Phyongan Province and attended the ceremony for their departure to see them off. He also visited the Wihwado area in the northwestern part of the country to lead our young people to leave precious traces of patriotism.
Though he bestowed great love and trust upon the young people, highly appreciating their efforts, whenever he visited them, he put the young people on the highest platform again on the day of the completion of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm.
Today, our young people are displaying the valor of young vanguards of creation and construction pioneering the era of changes on the road of faithfully upholding the leadership of the great Party.
Forward more bravely in higher spirit for the eternal prosperity of the motherland, for our beautiful future and for the honor of Korean youth!
This is the spirit of our young people.
With the outstanding leadership of the respected General Secretary, the Korean youth movement will, like in the past, continuously record glorious annals in its pages and, along with this, the flag of the SPYL will flutter higher and stronger.
