The respected General Secretary
Touching stories have been born there for the past four years since ordinary working people became the masters of new houses in Kyongru-dong.
People call it patriots’ neighborhood but the residents there unanimously say that Kyongru-dong is indeed a blessed neighborhood in the era of the Workers’ Party.
For the past four years Kyongru-dong has had one happy event after another.
50-odd dwellers had the honor to have a souvenir photo taken with the respected General Secretary and tens of residents received benevolent gifts.

Also there are persons, who won the honor of best scientists and technicians of the state.
There also dwells the family of Han Ho Song, a renowned aerialist who succeeded in quintuple flip-flap in the air for the first time in the world.
His mother Choe Myong Suk expressed her surging emotion saying that four years before, the Party conferred the honorary title of merited artiste on her eldest son who was only 26 years old and provided him even with a luxurious house, adding that, in the next year she again had the honor of having a photograph taken with the respected General Secretary after participating in the Fifth National Conference of Mothers.
For the last four years the women’s union members in Kyongru-dong have given pleasure to the General Secretary three times and tens of them volunteered for difficult yet labor-consuming sectors including the district construction brigade and road administration office.
Officials of the Kyongru-dong office are wont to give a pouch of soil from the meaningful Kyongru-dong and a notebook with a request for them to never forget being sons and daughters of Kyongru-dong written in it to young people joining the People’s Army.
Choe Sun Hui, a road keeper of the Central District Road Administration Office, makes it a habit to sweep the road of the dong at five o’clock every morning.
Though she is plain in her appearance, beautiful and lofty is the spiritual world of her who has devoted herself to keeping road clean for 45 years.
That’s why all the people, looking at the magnificent view of Kyongru-dong, harden their determination to unsparingly devote patriotic efforts to the motherland like its masters.
