Exhibition of Intellectual Property Field Held

In North Phyongan Province

An exhibition of intellectual property field took place in North Phyongan Province.

Officials of the provincial people’s committee and the provincial intellectual property office put great efforts into the successful holding of the exhibition.

They chose the provincial sci-tech library as the site for the exhibition and saw that intellectual goods were displayed in different forms including products, models, relief maps, illustrations and videos so as to make the participating units in the province vigorously conduct the work for dissemination and exchange.

During the exhibition, lots of intellectual goods drawing the attention of participants were presented and the work for dissemination, exchange and circulation actively conducted.

The province pushed ahead with the work for generalizing success and experience of leading units with an emphasis on further increasing social interest on intellectual property and revving up the atmosphere for creating practical intellectual assets during the exhibition.

In South Phyongan Province

Shortly ago South Phyongan Province held an exhibition of intellectual property field, drawing the attention of people.

The province made scrupulous arrangements with the main emphasis put on making the exhibition a significant occasion of raising public cognition of intellectual property and encouraging the creation and active use of intellectual assets which are of great significance in regional development, promotion of people’s living and the development of science and technology and culture.

The exhibition brought together cities and counties of the province, the province-level organs, factories and enterprises and units of various sectors including education and public health.

A plurality of people visited the venue of the exhibition where lots of intellectual goods created in the course of realizing the normalization of production, modernization and localization of raw and other materials were displayed.

Looking at the intellectual goods reflecting a soaring will of officials, scientists, educators, technicians and working people in the province to promote the regional economic and cultural development by dint of knowledge and technology, the visitors further deepened their understanding of intellectual property and hardened their will to firmly prepare themselves as fully-fledged masters of creation of intellectual assets.

In particular they keenly realized that a short-cut to innovation and prosperity can be opened when officials pay attention to intellectual property work, attach importance to intellectual creation and press on with its protection and promotion.

During the exhibition, there was an experience-sharing meeting and amateur evaluation of exhibits. Prizes were also awarded to excellent units.
