Industrial Art Exhibition Held

Not long ago, Ryanggang Province held an industrial art exhibition for regional development.

Lots of people visited the venue of the exhibition to which hundreds of various designs were presented.

Brands of new products and packaging designs of new regional-industry factories in Kim Hyong Jik County and Kim Jong Suk County and designs from different light-industry factories in Hyesan City drew public attention as they were up-to-date and did full justice to the characteristics of products.

Visitors realized once again how great significance industrial art has in regional development and improvement of people’s living standards, seeing the designs reflecting regional characteristics in a concentrated and symbolic way including the exterior formation design of rural dwellings, design of the Samjiyon Tourist Hotel and the design of winter boots made in Ryanggang Province.

The exhibition underlined the need for designers to create more of diverse and unique industrial art designs urgently required by the actualities and favored by the people.

During the exhibition, the participants made an earnest discussion on the issues of introducing new and peculiar designs to production while sharing the achievements and experience gained in the course of design production.

The exhibition served as a meaningful occasion which aroused social interest in industrial art and heightened the masses’ zeal for creating famous designs conducive to the powerful implementation of the regional development policy in the new era.
