DPRK Players Return Home after Taking Part in New Taipei City Athletics Open 2026

DPRK players returned home on June ９ after taking part in the New Taipei City Athletics Open ２０２６.

The athletics brought together at least ６００ male and female players from ２０-odd countries and regions including the DPRK, Taipei of China and Canada.

Pak Sol Gyong made a new record of the athletics and won a gold medal in the women’s ５ ０００ race and Kang Ryon Hui came first in the women’s ３ ０００ hurdle race.

Meanwhile, Kim Hye Song won a bronze medal in the women’s ５ ０００ race.

At Pyongyang International Airport, officials in the sports sector and sportspersons greeted the players who demonstrated the honor of the country.
