Persons Who Realize Beautiful Dreams

Now art group members of the Korean Art Association of the Disabled (KAAD) fully display their talents on the stage while overcoming physical troubles thanks to the devoted efforts of the association members striving to make those with disability realize their beautiful dreams.

Among them is Jo Kum Ran, who has worked as an officer in charge of art for 10-odd years.

She teaches persons with disability how to play accordion and other musical instruments.

Her job was very difficult because the team of musical instruments was formed by those with disability of eyesight.

However, Jo has steadily strived to make the team members easily acquire execution.

Meanwhile, Kim Son Yong teaches dancing as an officer in charge of art. She is also devoting herself to training dancers with Hypacusia.

All other members of the association including the Secretary-General and composer devote their sincerity to the work for improving artistic skill of those with disability.

They felt so exhausted that they sometimes hesitated to continue the work.

However, they overcame all difficulties witnessing the benevolence of the socialist system.

During the regional traveling performances, officials of the Party and government organs in the relevant regions made every possible effort to provide the performers with all conditions.

The cheers of the audience at the end of the performances made the members of the association keep in mind peculiar sense of mission.

Reflection of the audience also greatly encouraged the members of the association.

A large audience expressed their excited emotion, saying that the performance was the most touching one they had ever watched and that they keenly realized under what a grateful system they live seeing the cheerful looks of the disabled singing and dancing to their heart’s content.

Such voices full of gratitude were heard in every place holding the performances.

Meanwhile, the members of the association devoted their all to the disabled.

The team members regard the members of the association who teach and take warm care of them with the utmost efforts as their real parents rather than teachers.

Their appearances make the members of the disabled art group feel deeper gratitude to the motherland which bestows all manner of love and favor on them for bringing their beautiful dreams and talents into full bloom.
