This is a clear proof of the boundless reverence for the President who brought about a miracle unprecedented in the world history of war with the outstanding military ideas, extraordinary commanding art, matchless pluck and courage and the firm faith and will of our people and the KPA soldiers to add eternal brilliance to the undying exploits the President performed for victory in the war.
The Fatherland Liberation War Historic Site is a sacred place associated with the feats of the President who defeated the U.S imperialists which boasted of being "the strongest" in the world and defended the destiny of the country and sovereignty of the nation. He stayed at the site, set as the Supreme Headquarters of the Korean People’s Army, from January １９５１ to July １９５３.

Highly appreciating that the historic site was built as befitting national treasure, the respected Comrade General Secretary said that the perfect completion of the area of the historic site as a comprehensive base of education made it possible to convey forever the Juche-oriented military ideas of the President and his anti-imperialist revolutionary exploits and to display again all over the world the will of our army and people to emerge ever-victorious by carrying forward the tradition of victory created by the former generations.

Looking around various places of the historic site including the Supreme Headquarters command post, the tunnel, the half-underground bedchamber and the open-air resting place, the visitors keenly realize that our people could achieve brilliant victory in the severe three-year war thanks to the President’s far-sighted wisdom, rare insight and matchless pluck and courage.
The visitors cannot repress their surging hatred to the enemy, seeing the holes punched by the enemy’s strafing on the wall of the President’s office room and an unexploded bomb left stuck near it.
Looking round various places associated with the noble traits of the great man including the vegetable plot and various species of trees the President personally planted and cultivated and the well, the visitors are deeply moved by the ardent patriotism and the noble popular traits of the great patriot.
At the operation room the President used during the Fatherland Liberation War, the visitors bear deep in mind the greatness of the iron-willed commander who honorably protected the destiny of the country and nation and meted out merciless punishment to the US imperialists in such a simple and modest place.
