On August 15 one year, the President visited the then Jangchon Co-op Farm in Sadong District.
An official of the farm made an earnest request that the President should have at least a day’s rest, saying that it was an auspicious day when the President liberated the country, so all the people across the country were making a holiday of it.
The President said that it was just a rest for him to walk along the road between fields of the co-op farm.
Then he walked along the road between fields for a long time while teaching the ways for raising good crops in spite of unfavorable climatic conditions.
The road between fields covered by the President is adorned with such touching stories.
