"We Will Repay Your Warm Benevolence with Loyalty"

The workers’ hostel of the Sinuiju Textile Mill resounds with happy laughter and singing of girl weavers.

Whenever I see bright looks of them leading a blessed life in the wonderful hostel, I become wrapped in great emotions as I keenly feel the great father’s love associated with the hostel which the employees of our factory dearly call "workers’ palace", "workers’ hotel".

On June 30, 2018, our working class and officials of the factory were greatly honored to have the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un in our workplace.

On his way to the room dedicated to the history of the factory after looking round the room for education in the revolutionary history, the respected Comrade General Secretary asked me how many employees there were in the factory.

After listening to my answer, he again asked me how many of the employees were hostellers.

I was deeply moved by the sincerity of the respected Comrade General Secretary who cared so much for the issue of workers’ hostel of our factory.

To tell the truth, what the hostellers of our factory envied most was the workers’ hostels splendidly built at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill and the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill.

It was the respected Comrade General Secretary who first read our thoughts before anyone else.

In June 2016, the respected Comrade General Secretary had learnt about the conditions of our factory’s hostel while giving field guidance at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill and in October that year, he had expressed his determination to wonderfully build a hostel in our factory.

While looking round the workers’ hostel newly built at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill in January 2017, he earnestly instructed on building a workers’ hostel at the Sinuiju Textile Mill and in May that year, too, he ardently said that he would personally build a workers’ hostel in the Sinuiju Textile Mill.

Like this, the hostellers of our factory were ever present in the mind of the respected Comrade General Secretary.

When he entered the room dedicated to the history of the factory, he again asked me how many hostellers the factory had at the maximum.

After listening to my answer, he affectionately asked whether it would be small to build the hostel with the already-anticipated accommodation capacity or not.

Deeply moved by his benevolence, I extended thanks to him.

After looking round a workshop, he asked where the hostel was and proposed visiting it.

Saying that it is his intention to build the hostel of the Sinuiju Textile Mill as nice as those of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill and the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill, he added that the issue of improving the working and living conditions of employees of factories and enterprises is the one the Party attaches great political importance to. He continued that the reason he visited the Sinuiju Textile Mill that day was also to discuss the issues arising in improving the working and living conditions of the factory’s employees.

That day he personally learnt about the site of the hostel before giving detailed instructions on its construction.

Afterwards, he formed a powerful construction force to take charge of the construction of the hostel and solved all knotty problems arising in the construction.

Thanks to his warm loving care, a hostel could be wonderfully built in our factory.

Not only the hostellers but all the employees of our factory still harden their will to achieve greater successes in the cloth production, keeping deep in their mind the special love of the great father.
