Tank No. ３１２ Which Smashed Citadel of Enemy
On display at the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum is Tank No. ３１２ which distinguished itself in the combat for liberating Seoul.
In obedience to the order of President
Advance tanks of the then ３５th Tank Regiment of the ９th Tank Brigade dashed into the enemy stronghold in the van.
Among them was also the Tank No. ３１２ which recorded brilliant military feats in the history of the great victory in the war.
All the crewmembers of the Tank No. ３１２ who were assigned the glorious task of carrying the puppet "Capitol Building" rushed ahead at full speed, shattering enemy armored cars and flame throwers.
When the tank reached the puppet "Capitol Building", Ko Hyon Bin, jumped off the tank and ran to the flagstaff. And he dragged down the cursed flag of the enemy from the flagstaff and hoisted the flag of the DPRK.

This brings home the truth that we can surely defeat any enemy at a single blow and glorify the dignity and honor of the Republic if we fight with the military idea and the Juche-oriented tactics of the President, ever-victorious, iron-willed brilliant commander.
The President issued the orders of the supreme commander of the KPA on awarding unit titles in praise of the brilliant feats performed by the KPA soldiers who fought heroically in the combat for liberating Seoul and dashed into Seoul City before anyone else.
Therefore, the brigade which the Tank No. ３１２ belonged to was raised to the status of division and designated the Seoul １０５th Tank Division (at that time).
The Tank No. ３１２ which performed brilliant military feats at the combat for liberating Seoul still stands as a vivid symbol of the matchless bravery and fighting spirit of the heroic KPA soldiers.
