Paying Deep Attention to Medical Care Measures
In July ２０１８, the respected Comrade General Secretary
Going the rounds of the factory, he suddenly brought to topic the issue of building a hospital there.
He said that the Samjiyon County Hospital (at that time) should be built splendidly as a model of county hospital in our country and that a standard should be set up in providing equipment to the hospital so as to enable it to fulfill its function and role as a county hospital in mountainous area.
There is no reason why the central hospitals should be first equipped with advanced medical equipment, he noted and went on:
We should supply advanced medical equipment to the regions in which lots of people are concentrated and which are far away from big hospitals to meet the patients’ convenience. We can’t make patients go long distances to the province to get examined, though Samjiyon County is said to have been built as a model. ..
Officials fell deep in thoughts.
Great indeed was the world of love and devotion to people possessed by the respected Comrade General Secretary.
To the officials full of such thoughts, the respected Comrade General Secretary tender-heartedly said that thorough measures for medical care should be taken for people during the construction of Samjiyon County Hospital.
This story conveys the ardent love of the respected Comrade General Secretary who takes warm care of all the people in the country with motherly affection.
However Rough the Work May Be
One August day, the respected Comrade General Secretary gave field guidance at Farm No. １１１６.
Saying that he visited the farm with great delight after being informed of new fodder grass cultivated on a trial basis at the farm, the respected Comrade General Secretary made straight for the field of fodder grass.
Looking up at tall fodder grass with his arms akimbo, the respected Comrade General Secretary expressed great satisfaction.
He, underscoring the need for the farm to cultivate high yielding and nutritive non-cereal fodder crop in a large amount so as to decisively lower the proportion of grain fodder and make wider use of non-cereal fodder crop, offered to take the seeds with him and plant them in person.
Greatly surprised, an official of the farm earnestly entreated him not to do such rough work, promising that they would acclimatize the grass to our country’s climatic and natural features by doing research into breeding and cultivation well.
Then, the respected Comrade General Secretary told him that he understood what they felt but that he should buckle down to the work in order to provide meat for our people and soldiers aplenty.
He continued that he would do even harder work than that if he could supply our people and soldiers with meat every day by doing so.
Looking up to the respected Comrade General Secretary, the officials were deeply moved.
Thanks to the painstaking efforts by the respected Comrade General Secretary who goes through thick and thin for the happiness of people, all good blessings come one after another on this land.
