General Building-Materials Factory Remodeled, Its Production Capacity Expanded

North Phyongan Province remodeled the provincial general building-materials factory and expanded its production capacity.

Officials of the province set a goal of producing various building materials demanded by cities and counties on its own and powerfully pushed forward with the remodeling of the factory.

They saw to it that slogans and catchphrases were displayed in various parts of the factory.

They directed efforts to the work of expanding the production capacity so as to increase the variety of building materials.

The province reinforced the plastic pipe production workshop with injector molding machines, thus making it possible to produce not only different kinds of plastic pipes but also １０-odd kinds of plastic building materials.

It newly arranged tile paint production line at several workshops and provided the conditions for producing fittings, furniture, different sorts of electric wires and others.

The factory pushed ahead with the work for training technicians and skilled workers with a view to improve the quality of products.

The factory raised the level of technical skills of employees while letting them to learn from good experiences of leading production units and organizing passing-on technique sessions in a substantial way.

As a result, material and technical foundations capable of producing lots of building materials in a qualitative way and supplying them to cities and counties every year could be laid.
