One day in November ２０２１, the respected General Secretary
Touring the township village presenting a picturesque sight, the respected General Secretary all the time wore a smile of satisfaction.
He tender-heartedly said to the official of the Junghung-ri Party committee that farmers of the Junghung Farm dramatically face-lifted the township farm.
Officials fell deep in thoughts.
The dramatic change of the Junghung Farm is attributable to the devoted efforts of the respected General Secretary who frequented the spot to build an ideal city, a socialist ideal village at the foot of Mt Paektu and energetically led them to conduct construction at the highest level.
An official of the farm reported to the respected General Secretary that all the farmers turned out as one for repaying the benevolence of the Party which provided wonderful dwellings to them by reaping bumper harvest in potato farming.
The respected General Secretary, full of satisfaction, instructed that Samjiyon City should be a model of rural rejuvenation in potato farming, too.
He continued that such units that not only bring rejuvenation in the ideological consciousness and cultural life of their agricultural workers but also encourage them who are in direct charge of agricultural production, creators and enjoyers of cultural life to have their preparedness and work before the times, thus becoming a model unit of the country truly deserve to be called a model of rural rejuvenation.
His instruction clearly indicating the genuine meaning of a model of rural rejuvenation brought home to the officials the precious truth that only when they actively enlist the mental strength of farmers in keeping with the enhancement in their level of civilization and achieve success in grain production, can they turn the farm into a model as intended by the Party.
Until It Bears Fruit
One day in September ２０１７, the respected General Secretary visited a farm and paid deep attention to the issue of seed.
Looking round the farm fields, he praised the officials and working people of the farm for increasing the per-hectare yield ４ times more than before by planting the high-yielding seeds even in unfavorable weather conditions in which drought lasted.
By his undeserved praise, the officials were full of emotions.
The respected General Secretary took measures to newly build the institute of the farm as befitting the latest agricultural science institute and led step by step the institute to breed seeds of superior species.
Despite his painstaking efforts, the respected General Secretary attributed all the successes to the officials and working people of the farm. The officials were deeply moved by his great parental love.
That day he suggested letting many Party officials in the capital and local areas visit the farm so that they make an intuitive view of how to work in order to sincerely carry out the Party’s policy of seed revolution to the end, until it bears fruit as intended by the Party Central Committee.
Until it bears fruit!
Receiving his instructions, the officials keenly realized once again with what attitude they should implement the Party’s policy for bringing about a radical turn in seed improvement.
