Our Revolutionary Army Stands in the Van of Era of Transformation
Deeply Implanting Noble Mission
In the present new era when we hold in high esteem the respected General Secretary
Today, the main factor for all of its victories and glories and invincibility and mightiness lies in the fact that it has been incessantly strengthened and developed as the revolutionary armed forces boundlessly loyal to the Party under the wise guidance of the respected General Secretary.
The respected General Secretary, who defined it as the general duty in army building to model the entire army on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, taught that the Party’s leadership is the lifeline of the People’s Army and the decisive guarantee for all victories and attached great significance to training the revolutionary armed forces sharing the ideology, intention and breath with the Party Central Committee in any adversity and trials.
One of the issues prioritized the most by the respected General Secretary who trains all the officers and men of the People’s Army to be creators of history to be remembered forever by the country and the rising generations is to prepare the People’s Army into a genuine people’s army which has made our Party’s noble outlook on the people and the people-first ideal as its habit.
Once the respected General Secretary taught to the commanding officers of the People’s Army as follows:
All the commanding officers of the People’s Army should work, keeping deep in their minds the true meaning of the call the People’s Army.
The call encapsulates the profound meaning that the People’s Army is a revolutionary armed forces which protect the life and properties of the people and provide them with a happy life, and at the same time, guarantee the destiny and future of the people.
On another occasion, he taught what the People’s Army should do to display the honorable mission and duty and earnestly taught that the People’s Army, the defenders and artists of the people’s happiness should never be a burden on the people in any cases and that it should display a noble trait of loving the people as their own parents and brothers and safeguarding the people’s lives and properties death-defyingly.
He is most rejoiced when he hears about laudable deeds the soldiers of the army performed for the people and has led the People’s Army to love and respect the people and do things for the people of its own accord, holding high the slogan of "Let Us Help the People!"
It was not just his earnest request and ardent appeal that made the officers and men of the army keep the intention of making selfless, devoted efforts for the people.
The great leadership of him, who saw that the Juche-oriented outlook on the people and the people-first ideal are embodied thoroughly in the overall activities of the Party and state, and the traces of his revolutionary guidance of putting his heart and soul and redoubling his efforts for the wellbeing and bright future of the people--these served as a brilliant example which taught the People’s Army how it should respect and love the people and with what sincerity it should uphold them.
Keeping such example in their hearts, our officers and men became the great strength of our Party, applying themselves unhesitatingly to the military missions, economic tasks and even more challenging trials, after reading the trouble of the Party and feeling the arrival of the historic time when they should play an important role.
They also formed the greatest army of revolution, patriotism and people in the world.
Indeed, the noble trait and attitude of our People’s Army invariably upholding the slogans of "When the Party is determined we can do anything!" and "Let the People’s Army take charge of both national defence and socialist construction!" and remaining faithful to the great Party, the country and the people are the manifestation of the boundless pride in the most glorious mission and duty, the absolute sense of responsibility and the steadfast will for execution the peerlessly great man has implanted in them.
Strength of Miracle Redoubled under Great Loving Care
It is the noble intention of the respected General Secretary and the steadfast faith of officers and men of our revolutionary armed forces to put the country and people on the meridian of dignity and happiness admired by the world while his absolute trust and fervent parental love serve as the nutriment for our legendary, almighty army’s irresistible force.
When he visited the venue of an exhibition of utensils and tools in February ２０１５, the respected General Secretary commended the People’s Army on making great contributions to face-lifting the appearance of the country in the construction of major project and bestowed great trust that he will design to the full the future of the country believing in the People’s Army.
Saying that the Party thinks first of our People’s Army whether in good times or in bad times, he called upon them to invariably cover one road despite any trial. His great trust was ever present in the hearts of service personnel of the KPA.
The respected General Secretary said that what our Party Central Committee believed first when deciding on the project of building ５０ ０００ flats in Pyongyang was none other than the revolutionary armed forces that are boundlessly faithful to the Party and the people and that only when the People’s Army which has performed heroic feats in numerous grand construction projects and in the theatres of rehabilitating damaged areas undertakes to a major project, can a sure victory be achieved in the overall construction projects.
Then he expressed his great trust, saying that he is convinced that the officers and men of the People’s Army will fully prove themselves worthy of the expectations of the Party and the people with thoroughgoing implementation by giving full play to their militant temperament in the creative struggle of construction, too.
The speed of advance of our era, the spirit of Korea which proclaims inauguration in the year of groundbreaking is being steadily created at every theater where the People’s Army are.
Although he brought up such a laudable heroic army with ardent affection and put forward them for our state and people, the respected General Secretary bestows all manner of benevolence to glorify the noble feats of service personnel of the People’s Army in the history of the country.
At the banquet for celebrating the ７５th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Army, highly appreciating the absolute loyalty peculiar to our People’s Army that shed blood and sweat and sacrifice themselves without hesitation, if the revolution calls for it, the respected General Secretary gave a meaningful instruction that the appearance of our state growing tougher and stronger in the face of hardships and ordeals is a mirror of the fighting army and the names of heroic service personnel shine along with the peak dignity of our people.
On the day of celebrating the founding anniversary of our Party which has written the longest history in the world as the socialist ruling party, the respected General Secretary said that our Party has led the Korean revolution for the last ８０ years and reached the present day of glory, adding that as we review its history, we feel infinite dignity and pride in having the loyal armed forces that can share the destiny with the Party.
On the high platform of the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea recorded in the history of its revolutionary struggle as an eventful one, the respected General Secretary courteously proposed highly appreciating in the name of the Congress our People’s Army which has performed gigantic successes and countless heroic exploits by dedicating their blood, lives and sweat to implementing the orders and instructions of the Party over the past five years in the forefront for defending the country, the revolution and the people, in the hard-fought battlefields defending the dignity and honour of the country and in major worksites for socialist construction.
As we have a legendary, almighty army, a heroic army holding the great leader as the supreme commander, the revolutionary cause of Juche will be carried on forever, the overall state rejuvenation is sure to be achieved and people’s ideal society will be erected on this land for sure. This is the truth and science.
