Collegians Increase at New Factories

Among the prides of new regional-industry factories is the story about collegian employees increasing in number.

Conscious that they can be true masters of the new factories provided by the Party when they train themselves into intelligent workers well-versed in science and technology, employees of regional-industry factories in different parts of the country like the Yonthan County Foodstuff Factory and the Sukchon County Garment Factory enrol themselves in the teleeducation system.

Tens of employees of the Unchon County Daily Necessities Factory have entered the teleeducation system, several of whom are already university graduates.

At first, when they proposed to receive teleeducation, some people thought it would be unnecessary as they already graduated from universities.

However, they delved even into fields distant from their university majors, maintaining that their academic careers are not the indices of intelligent workers as the cycle of knowledge update gets shorter and shorter and that they should learn ceaselessly and make inquiries in order to master the modern new machines and skilfully handle them.

This moved the people deeply.

Also high is the zeal of employees at regional-industry factories built in the second year for implementing the regional development policy.

At the Kilju County Foodstuff Factory inaugurated last December, hundreds of employees visited the sci-tech learning space in a single month. Most of them are employees involved in the teleeducation system.

They visit the sci-tech learning space when a day’s work is over as well as in their spare time to broaden their knowledge.

The recent success the factory made in increasing the varieties of products and raising their qualities is a fruit of such efforts.

The more the collegians increase at new regional-industry factories, the higher the production result will be achieved at the factories.
