We Will Practically Uphold His Noble Intention for People

Many years have passed since the Ryuwon Footwear Factory was turned into a modern footwear producing base thanks to the benevolence of the Party. However, going round the factory I am haunted by the benevolent image of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who visited our factory which had been remodeled.

In October nine years ago, the respected General Secretary visited our factory again.

First, he went to the mosaic which depicted the image of Chairman Kim Jong Il evaluating shoes produced by our factory.

Looking at the mosaic in deep emotion, the respected General Secretary said that it seemed as if he had seen the Chairman with a broad smile. Then he earnestly told that the officials and employees of our factory should produce more quality and graceful shoes to provide for people.

That day the respected General Secretary went round different parts of the factory with great pleasure all the time.

He was pleased to see the energy-saving integrated production system saying that our factory could realize optimizing of production and quality. He highly praised that our factory raised the proportion of locally produced equipment at high level upholding the banner of making the national economy more Juche-oriented, modern and scientific.

Looking at various shoes, he said he was satisfied to picture our people, children and sportspersons who would be delightful when wearing the sports shoes manufactured on our own.

I remembered the unforgettable fact occurred in January two years before.

The respected General Secretary visited our factory despite biting cold. He learnt in detail about the production of shoes and business management of our factory.

He said that low quality shoes disliked by the people are useless no matter how many they are produced and indicated the ways for producing convenient, fashionable, light and durable shoes. He stressed the need to perfectly remodel the factory to meet the demand of the new century.

That day he earnestly requested that the factory should produce perfect shoes welcomed by the people as it turned into a model unit and a standard factory in the footwear industry sector of our country.

His earnest request reflects his noble intention to make our people lead happy life with nothing to envy.

Then he had a souvenir photo taken with all the employees of our factory.

Now the officials and employees of our factory strive to manufacture more quality shoes with ardent zeal for upholding the noble intention of the Party for the people, keeping in mind deep trust and expectation shown by the respected General Secretary.
