In November ２０１４, the respected General Secretary
Being briefed on the integrated production management system introduced into the factory, he expressed satisfaction.
Then, all of a sudden, he placed a chair in front of the computer desk and tried sitting on it.
He rose from the seat and praised that the general control room was arranged decently.
He then pointed out with regret that the desk in the room was not made so well.
He meant the shortcoming of the desk whose lower part was surrounded with iron plate.
Presently, he quietly repeated that sitting at such a desk for a long time would be uncomfortable to the legs.
Only then, the officials could realize why the respected General Secretary had tried sitting at the desk.
Many officials had been to this place before but no one had noticed that the desk was inconvenient for the directors.
The officials reproached themselves upon failing to do their utmost for the employees of the factory, feeling the attentive loving care of the respected General Secretary.
The respected General Secretary earnestly taught the officials the ways for rectifying the shortcoming.
He reminded himself again of the inconvenience the directors would suffer when he finished looking round the sci-tech achievement exhibition.
That day, the officials hardened their will to work devotedly for the employees, cherishing the noble outlook of the benevolent father on the people.
Going Wherever Workers Are
One day in summer ten years ago, the respected General Secretary inspected the Taedonggang Pig Farm.
After looking round different places of the farm to indicate tasks arising in the management and operation of the farm and its production normalization, the respected General Secretary suggested going to the organic composite fertilizer workshop.
The officials didn’t know what to do because the air in the workshop was not so fresh as the weather was steaming hot.
All the accompanying officials informed him of this and tried to dissuade him from going there.
However, the respected General Secretary insisted on going, saying that our workers were working there, too.
He looked round the workshop and learnt about the advantage and production of the organic composite fertilizer and stressed the need to normalize production at the farm like in other units which were supposed to produce organic composite fertilizer.
Though he didn’t have to look round the excretion processing procedure at the modern pig farm, the respected General Secretary couldn’t feel relaxed without inspecting in person the production field where our workers were.
His words that he had to go because our workers were working there too deeply touched the officials’ hearts.
After learning in detail the production lines at the organic composite fertilizer workshop, the respected General Secretary expressed satisfaction and had a souvenir photo taken with the officials and employees of the farm.
The officials and employees, who were full of endless excitement, felt in their hearts that the respected General Secretary is the genuine father of the people who regards ordinary workers as the most precious in the world.
