One day in December １９４５, the President called Ho Jong Suk to his office.
The President warmly greeted her and told he managed time for her that day, expressing pity for having her still stay at an inn though it had been several days since she had returned to the motherland.
Ho was much obliged for his companionable and modest personality.
The President then recollected the righteous acts of her father Ho Hon and her past of going to China in search of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army and trying to find the organizational channel there but failing to attain her aim.
Presently, he noted that both Ho and himself got relieved now that she was there and suggested working with might and main for the construction of a new democratic country.
Ho looked up to him, who gazed at the clothes she wore for a while.
At that time, Ho was wearing the old military uniform she used to wear in the battlefield abroad.
A moment later, the President called an official and assigned him to make a new uniform and a Korean dress for her, requesting him that the Party had to take good care of her thereafter.
Ho burst into tears out of heartfelt excitement.
Thus, Ho received a new uniform made by the benevolence of the President.
The new uniform reflected the ardent love of the President for her and his trust in the first-generation information official to conduct revolutionary ideological work in a bold way on the road of building a new country.
Under such attentive and warm love and care, Ho became the first ministress of the Republic and worked at a responsible post of the Party and state for a long time.
