What He Visited First
One day in October ２０１４, the respected General Secretary
That day he visited first Wisong Primary School where the children of scientists would study.
Warmly shaking hands with an official of the school, the respected General Secretary feasted his eyes on the compound of the school with a broad smile on his face as if he pictured happy looks of children in the near future.
Then ascending the stairs of the entrance, he said that Wisong Primary School can be called the place where reserves of scientists grow up as it is a school for the children of scientists of the State Academy of Sciences.
At that time the officials realized why the General Secretary first visited the school before going round the newly built dwellings for scientists.
Presently the respected General Secretary warmly said that as the revolution is carried on through generations, scientific research should be conducted through generations.
His instructions were implanted in the hearts of officials as earnest request of the benevolent father hoping that children of scientists will grow up to be excellent reserves of scientists.
Education Is Mother of Science
One December day in ２０２０, the respected General Secretary gave senior officials of the Party Central Committee precious instructions related to the education work.
He said that we recently created the byword for our times that education is mother of science while attaching importance to education. It is a new theory which cannot be found in any classics and there was no theory which defined the right principle in a word until now, he added.
Education is mother of science! This phrase is the byword born amid the flame of educational revolution in the new century.
The respected General Secretary gave this significant instruction at the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Party Central Committee, touching the hearts of the officials.
A year ago, the General Secretary said that if science can be called an engine leading the economic development, education can be called the mother of science.
Education is mother of science! This phrase means that education is the foundation and precondition of science development and the level of sci-tech development is decided according to the qualitative standard of education. In other words, it means that development of science and technology is guaranteed when attaching importance to education and directing primary effort to its development as talents grow up by education.
That day the officials kept in mind again that building of a powerful country of education and talent power is the building of an economic power and powerful socialist country.
