Meaningful Exhibitions Held

South Phyongan Province held an exhibition of products of Koryo medicine factories on the theme of "With our own resources and technology".

The exhibition was aimed at increasing the variety and output of efficacious Koryo medicines using our own raw materials and improving the technical and practical level of technicians and skilled workers at the city and county Koryo medicine factories on a new high.

The province focused on renovating the quality, brands and packaging of medicines produced at the city and county Koryo medicine factories in making scrupulous arrangements for the exhibition.

Presented to the exhibition participated by lots of officials, technicians and skilled workers of the city and county Koryo medicine factories were tens of kinds of products.

The display stand of the Sinyang County Disabled Soldiers’ Koryo Medicine Factory, which further improved the quality inspection system for all the processes ranging from the raw material feeding to the product packaging and increased the variety of medicines, was crowded with lots of people.

Products of the Phyongsong Koryo Medicine Factory and Koryo medicine factories in Tokchon City and Sukchon, Hoechang and Taedong counties which were made with locally-available medicinal herbs also drew the attention of the visitors.

Tens of kinds of Koryo medicines from Maengsan County attracted public interest as they were packed in new forms and made with advanced production techniques.

A meaningful consumer goods exhibition was held in Kangwon Province.

The exhibition, aimed at sharing successes and experience of advanced units, promoting diversified exchange and raising the zeal for quality emulation, displayed lots of products made at the consumer goods production units of the province.

Foodstuff factories built in different regions under the Party’s benevolence turned out lots of new products with raw materials abundant in their regions to the delight of the visitors.

In particular, instant foodstuffs, confectionery and condiments produced by the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory well-known among the people in the country gained popularity for their taste, fragrance and packaging.

Various textile goods and different shapes of spring and autumn clothes for men and women produced at the Wonsan Hosiery Factory and the Wonsan Knitwear Factory were also popular among the people.

Meanwhile, men’s and women’s leather shoes, children’s footwear and plastic goods from the Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory, Wonsan Footwear Factory and the Wonsan Disabled Soldiers’ Essential Plastic Goods Factory also attracted the attention of the public.
