Show and Exhibition Held

North Hamgyong Province organized a building materials show in an attempt to sufficiently produce and supply building materials needed for the construction of regional development policy projects.

The show, to which a hundred and tens of kinds of building material goods were presented by tens of units in the province, evaluated the state of quality improvement at building materials production units and their development of new products.

The Komusan Cement Factory drew the attention of the visitors with its non-gypsum mixed cement made from waste rocks.

The Chongjin Slate Factory and Kyongsong Tile Factory were popular for their concrete boundary stones, colored artificial stone plates and outer wall tiles which were highly burnished.

The processed stone goods from the Chongjin Building Stone Material Processing Station decorated the venue of the show as they were gracious and practical.

The furniture and plastic pipes from the daily necessities factories in Kyongsong, Orang, Puryong and Kilju counties were high in quality and pleasing to the eye.

The show served as a meaningful occasion for sharing the achievements and experience of the building materials production units in the province, realizing home production and further raising the zeal for quality improvement.

Not long ago, South Hwanghae Province held a consumer goods exhibition.

Officials of the regional industry management bureau in the province directed efforts to the preparations for the exhibition.

They went out to cities and counties and consumer goods production units to learn about production in detail and made exacting demands that they present unique products to the exhibition.

The exhibition, aimed at more dynamically waging emulation for new product development and quality improvement among consumer goods production units, took place for several days.

The consumer goods produced in Jaeryong, Unchon, Jangyon and Paechon counties were highly appreciated for their quality.

The plastic goods from Jaeryong County and soap from Unchon County drew people’s interest.

Beer from Jangyon County and spring and autumn clothes from Paechon County were also popular.

Many units including the Haeju Knitwear Factory and the Haeju Footwear Factory won public favor by channeling efforts into developing new products and raising quality and thereby turning out different consumer goods.
