One January day in ２０２２, the respected General Secretary gave officials precious instructions to be guidelines in science research saying that the domain of science should turn out for developing the country’s economy.
Stressing the need for the science research sector to focus science research on solving practical problems in the work for developing country’s economy and improving people’s living standard, he said that scientists should not do insignificant and purposeless science research, which is only for science, technology and academic essays.
It is a very meaningful word clarifying what is the main stress in the science research work.
Looking around the officials, he said that review of the science research work should be done not according to the number of research tasks but according to the number of the research findings which were practically introduced to the national economy sectors and which contributed to improving people’s living standard.
Looking up to the respected General Secretary, the officials could know how they should evaluate the science research work.
Work Demanding Well-regulated System
Now, advance and leaps forward are inconceivable without acquiring modern science and technology.
Everyone can fully display his strength in the building of a socialist power only when he acquires advanced science and technology.
Therefore, the respected General Secretary at every opportunity stresses the need to further actively conduct the work of dissemination of science and technology.
In March ２０２４, the respected General Secretary visited the newly built Kangdong Greenhouse Complex.
Going round the greenhouse complex, he talked about the dissemination of science and technology.
He told officials that we should establish the well-regulated system for disseminating and introducing new technology across the country in order to enlighten scientists and technicians.
That day he said that development of science and technology is development of economy and we should develop science and technology to develop the country’s economy. He continued that we should provide scientists and technicians with full conditions so that they can acquire new sci-tech data as early as possible in order to develop science and technology.
His word carried deep meaning that the scientists and technicians would make contributions to developing science and technology of the country when they establish a well-regulated system in keeping with the trend of development of science and technology and they are provided with new advanced scientific and technical data in time.
The officials made up their minds to fulfill their responsibilities and duties in developing the country’s science and technology as desired by the respected General Secretary.
