And the anglers and people like the fishing places arranged at regular intervals.

Meanwhile, the promenade has been newly paved and the greenery covering tens of thousands of square meters has been remodeled and the surrounding landscape has changed its looks completely with good species of plants, adding to the beauty of the riverbank.

The appearance of the Pothong Gate Bridge has been spruced up and recreation grounds have been newly built in different places including the vicinity of the riverbank.

Besides, the boating moorage and the wharf of the excursion ship have been arranged in a peculiar style, thus making it possible to delight the people.

Officials and working people in Pothonggang and Phyongchon districts and other parts of Pyongyang City turned out as one to spruce up the appearance of the Pothong Riverbank and carried out a huge project in a short span of time.
