Story Conveyed by Samgwang Livestock Farm
Last February ２, officials visited the Samgwang Livestock Farm which was completely transformed in the presence of the respected General Secretary
At that time they were greatly excited at the spectacular sight unfolded in Samgwang-ri.
All those transformations including newly-built rural dwellings and public buildings, paved roads, rock-filled bank and peculiar bridge were indeed a culmination of delicateness and beauty.
The view of the farm in which modern production buildings are in good harmony with white birch and lawn was the one of the ideal socialist rural village.
The respected General Secretary said that the Samgwang Livestock Farm, showcasing the developmental change in the countryside, constitutes another proud record and asset and wonderful creation, which highlights an aspect of the work of the Eighth Party Central Committee as much as a new large-scale greenhouse farm or leading electricity-generation base in terms of importance and significance.
Bearing in mind his speech word by word and looking up to his venerable image, the officials keenly realized that our Party’s long course of struggle for eliminating the differences between towns and rural communities has reached the landmark moment.
They were more impressed while looking round various parts of the farm following the respected General Secretary who ended his passionate speech.
It was when they dropped in at the milk production ground.
Looking at delicious and high-quality milk products being turned out in a remote farm village, the officials witnessed the new features of the countryside the respected General Secretary pictured to himself.
Having a taste of milk product, the respected General Secretary said that it tasted better than the products made in the capital city.
Then looking round the officials wrapped in great emotion, he said that he felt great pride to think that such good milk products would be supplied to the children and people.
It was indeed a meaningful instruction.
Among the accompanying officials were not a few ones who witnessed what great devotion the respected General Secretary made in order to bring about the transformation of Samgwang-ri.
The officials recalled to their mind the past days when they built the Samgwang Livestock Farm into a model farm of the rural development in the new era under the attentive guidance of the respected General Secretary.
In September ２０１９, the respected General Secretary instructed to build a farm furnished with modern equipment for cheese production and assigned the task to a major department of the Party Central Committee.
When he was informed that the site suitable for building a modern livestock farm was chosen, the respected General Secretary even arranged in person the owner and operator of the project and the units responsible for supplying materials needed for the construction and for designing.
That was not all.
At the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea and plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee, he set forth major tasks related to the building of the farm.
He solved all the issues arising in the construction, earnestly noting that the Samgwang Livestock Farm should be built into a model of modern livestock farming, immaculate in all aspects.
Although he made ceaseless devotion to bring about such a proud reality, the respected General Secretary, oblivious to the great pains he went to, feels the great pride and joy picturing to himself the happy looks of our people who would rejoice at the fruition of happiness.
Great pride of our father!
It is indeed the world of great love for the country and people and the world of making selfless, devoted efforts for the people.
