Birthday Spread to Woman Centenarian in Kangwon Province

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ko Chun Som, a woman living in neighborhood unit No. ２２ in Jangdok-dong, Wonsan City, on her １００th birthday.

Receiving the birthday spread amid the congratulations of officials of the Party and power organs in Wonsan City and neighbors, the centenarian expressed heartfelt thanks to respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, with her deep emotion over the love of the motherly Workers’ Party of Korea which takes warm care of the aged as revolutionary forerunners.

She, born into a day laborer’s family before the liberation of Korea, experienced the sorrow of a stateless nation. So, she had devoted herself to the struggle for increased grain production for decades with a resolve to repay the benevolence of the country which put her forward as a master of land.
