The Yangdok Hot Spring Resort was completed on December 7, Juche 108(2019).

The resort, which was built as one of monumental edifices in the era of the Workers’ Party, is a combined hot spring therapy facility and multi-functional sports and cultural complex conducive to promotion of the people’s health and their cultural and emotional life.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who always pays attention to making our people lead a civilized life, personally visited the construction site several times and led meticulously its construction so that it was built into a people’s cultural recreation center in a peculiar way.

The Yangdok Hot Spring Resort, which was built splendidly thanks to his energetic leadership, has indoor and outdoor spas, ski ground, horse-riding park and hostels including places for medical treatment and recuperation, sports and cultural bases, welfare service facilities, low- and many-storied dwelling houses.

Since its completion, a lot of people have visited the resort to enjoy a new hot spring culture, hot spring civilization.
