Iron Truth He Deeply Engraved in Their Hearts

The Core of Modernization

One day in November several years ago, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Children’s Foodstuff Factory.

Going around the modernized factory, he said that what particularly pleased him was the fact that each production process was equipped with up-to-date facilities designed by our scientists and technicians and made by our own efforts. He stressed that localization constituted the core of the Party’s policy on modernization.

The officials were deeply moved by his words.

The respected General Secretary values the products made by our own efforts, technology and our materials, though they are small, wherever he visits. He sees to it that our people create and innovate everything to be proud of which in the world.

The officials determined to display the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and self-development.

In Practice, Not in Words

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex and watched a newly manufactured subway train in October, Juche 104 (2015).

He said that the success proved again in practice that we can create everything from nothing by enlisting wisdom of our scientists and technicians and unfathomable strength and revolutionary spirit of self-reliance of working class.

After a while he stressed that he attached great importance to the development and production of subway trains in order to show in practice, not in many words, some people with proclivity to import the truth that when everything is made in the Korean style by our own efforts and technology just as what manufactured by the heroic workers equipped with Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and patriotic scientists and technicians, those will be more valuable and shine. He added that the subway train made by our working class gave him a great courage.

The officials kept again in their minds the truth that they can open up a new era of prosperity on this land when they uphold the respected General Secretary’s lofty intention on self-reliance in practice.
