Successes Made for Development of Agricultural Production

Officials and researchers of the Academy of Agricultural Science have bred tens of new species of crops this year and achieved a number of scientific successes conducive to the stable and sustaining development of agricultural production.

The Academy of Agricultural Science set and has carried out stepwise goals, including the breeding of high-yielding species adapted to geographical and climatic features of the country and highly resistant to high temperature, drought, coldness, saltiness and harmful insects.

As a result, there have been achieved sci-tech successes conducive to the consolidation of material and technical foundation for agricultural production and valuable research successes needed for developing fruit farming and stock breeding and putting agricultural production on a scientific and IT basis.
