Premier Inspects School Things Producers in Pyongyang
Premier Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea and vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, inspected school things production units in Pyongyang.
At the Sonamu School Things Factory, the Ryongbong School Things Factory, the Pyongyang School Things Factory and the Pyongyang Mechanical Pencil Factory, he called upon their officials and employees to fulfill their responsibility and duty in supplying quality school things to the children and pupils and students, true to the noble intention of the Party Central Committee giving top priority to the work for posterity.
Learning in detail about the production of school things, he stressed the need to raise the operation rate of equipment to the maximum through meticulous technical control over the production processes, design a richer variety of school things in conformity with children's mind and steadily improve the quality of products.
Discussed at the field consultative meetings were the issue of giving full play to the official's revolutionary working spirit and manner in the struggle to implement the decisions of the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee, the issue of ensuring the timely supply of raw materials and increasing the variety of school things, and the issue of strengthening the ranks of technicians and skilled workers and conducting the expansion of production capacity in a far-sighted way.
Earlier, the premier inspected different units in Sunchon City including the Sunchon Engine Factory, where he took relevant measures.
