Sabina chinensis is growing at the Central Botanical Garden of the DPRK.
Originally it had grown in Nampho since around the year 1600, and was replanted at the botanical garden in Juche 48 (1959).
The tree is 3.2m in height, 3.3m in circumference at its base and 3.1m in circumference at its middle, 14 meters in width of its crown and some 41 meters in its circumference.
The tree, covering a large area in the horizontal direction, has good appearance and fragrant scenery.
The DPRK registered this tree as a natural monument in 1980 and puts it under conservation.
