Hyangbiro Peak, the highest peak in Mt Myohyang, rises in boundary of Hyangsan County in North Phyongan Province, Nyongwon County in South Phyongan Province and Huichon City in Jagang Province.
On the peak, we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of aged trees and mountain ranges covered with primitive forest.
In the forest, there are Sabina sargentii, Thuja koraiensis, Pinus pumila and alpine plants such as Rhododendron, thus adding beauty to scenery of the peak.
On clear days, not only the Yoltusamcholli Plain, known as the granary, but also the West Sea of Korea can be seen at sight.
The peak consists of granitite and granogneiss.
The ridge of the peak is covered with petrographic province and even grass field and its slope is steep.
Beautiful scenery of Mt Myohyang adds love for the country.
